You receive your booking confirmation, trip paperwork to complete and return, and our day trip information package to help you prepare for your outing with us, your mind is at ease.
Your trip is scheduled; your excitement grows day by day as the date of your Ålesund visit gets closer. Finally, the day is here, and you find yourself giddy with the prospect of what the day will bring. After introductions from your guide your nervousness dissipates; you are ready for the thrill of what the day promises to bring.
It’s ON! All geared up and ready to launch onto the sparkling waters of Borgund Fjord, the saltwater is refreshing; laughs & giggles sit loosely as we hit the water for a few glorious hours exploring Ålesund’s waterways. As a bonus, on water breaks with snacks & tastes from our Monkfish Café, wholesome, energizing snacks and bites keep you going and reenergize your crew out on the waterways.

Ålesund’s Southern harbour and it’s famous Borgund fjord are the scene from Ålesund’s original sea kayak excursion. Good fun and great paddling await as our internationally certified sea kayak guides lead you down Borgund fjord to the ‘first settlement’, Borgundkaupangen. Historical landmarks, dating back over 100 years, the city’s skyline, and the glistening waters of mighty Borgund Fjord are seemingly painted on a backdrop of the majestic, snow-capped Sunnmøre Alps.
Our kayaks glide easily over the rippling fjord waters as we marvel in our serene surroundings and take advantage of countless photo opts, as your guide shares tales and stories of Western Norway and its coastal culture.

We understand that unexpected things can happen, and changes may need to be made, therefore, we have an early booking – peace of mind – cancellation policy which covers you 100% up until 150 days prior to your trip date. Cancellations made up to 150 days prior to your trip date are refunded 100% and are refunded directly through our booking system to the card that was used to make the reservation.
Day Trip Cancellations – 149 Days or Closer to your Trip Start Date
Kayak More Tomorrow operates during a short season in Norway; a substantial cost goes in preparing for our day trips. Therefore, if a client wants to cancel 149 days or closer to their trip date then we will issue a gift card for the entire price of your booking as compensation.
