What sets Kayak More Tomorrow apart from all other Scandinavian Sea Kayak Companies?

We received this email question from a family interested in doing a self-guided sea kayak trip in Norway.

We’re just weighing this up against another potential Kayaking trip in a different location. This trip is our preference, but this trip is priced at double the other trip which we’re trying to understand. Can you provide any further information on why the rental costs are higher and the transport costs are significantly higher for similar distances?

This is our response!

Norway is Europe’s most expensive country!

Our prices reflect the quality of our service, equipment, and knowledge, as well as they mirror the type of cliental that we wish to attract and paddle with.

Protecting the outdoors is our priority, and responsible pricing is the first line of defence on mass tourism. Outdoor adventures are for those with means. Therefore, when deciding on an outfitter for an outdoor adventure trip, quality of services supplied should be your only consideration.

Kayak More Tomorrow is owned and operated by one of the worlds most experienced sea kayak guides. Jonthan Bendiksen has over 3180 guiding days along Norway’s majestic coastline.

You will receive the most comprehensive information ever complied for paddling Norwegian coastal waters. Kayak More Tomorrow is still the only company that provides the correct tide & current calculations needed for sea kayaking safely along Norway’s coastal waters; this is after almost 30 years with competitors springing up everywhere along the coastline.

After downsizing in 2019 to get through the pandemic, we have not hired a single sea kayak guide to work in Norway; there is NOT one sea kayak guide working in all of Scandinavia (Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland) that possess the skills, experience, or training required to guide for Kayak More Tomorrow. Therefore, you will receive the very best leadership form the world’s most experienced sea kayak guide when paddling with Kayak More Tomorrow in Norway.

Our Gear is simply the best you can get; this is not something we just say like most other sea kayak companies! Starting with our choice of paddles, we outfit you with Werner composite paddles to enhance your paddling experience. Our fleet of new sea kayaks are specifically chosen for their seaworthy attributes and load capacity which are both necessary requirements for paddling Norwegian coastal waters. As well, our uncompromising selection of all our other paddling and camping gear sets us apart. At Kayak More Tomorrow we don’t just say we have the best gear available, we really do!

Norway is Europe’s most expensive country! And this again is very apparent by having Europe’s most ridiculous vehicle taxation rates, energy prices and road toll costs.

Our transport service is priced as a service! Here is an example of our cost breakdown for pick up in the fjords:
·        Driver for 8 hours costs €250
·        Road tolls and energy costs €150
·        Vehicle and insurance costs €225
·        Total cost for a pick-up in Geiranger for example is € 625

Our transport service price for up to 4 people is priced at only € 600!

Choosing Kayak More Tomorrow is absolutely your best choice for a self-guided sea kayak in Norway!
